Wearing a Dress as a Shirt

Summer is made for comfy outfits, isn’t it? I belive so 😉

This is why I am showing you another relaxed and oversized look todaz, featuring a dress of mine that I am wearing as a shirt here. I got the inspo from cute Jalisa who made a post about wearing dresses as shirts just recently. I have been wearing the dress on my blog before and I jsut spend 15 minutes looking for the past – with no success. In case I will find it, I will put a link for you. Anyway, so here I am wearing this three year old dress with my Birkenstocks, and my wide Land’s End pants which are too comfy to be true. I really love them!  It’s another simple Summer look; the kind of looks that I really love.

By the way, I am so excited about the idea to wear my dresses as shirts because I have this breastfeeding dilemma – I love to wear dresses but (when they are not button-ups) it’s super difficult to breastfeed with them because you basically have to get completly naked to free your boobs. Wearing some pants under my dress makes it so much easier since I can lift the dress all the way up (having my nursing tee always underneath) and do not feel exposed at all. So this is definetly something I will copy with quite some more of my dresses 🙂

How do you like this look? And have you ever tried to wear a shirt as a dress by just putting it all into your (wide) pants? If not – I think you should give it a try 🙂 !

Have a fabulous rest of the week everyone!

What a wonderful Summer look! I love the print on your dress:) During those hot days I also love comfy clothes, but for me it’s always maxi dresses or A-shaped skirts which I really like. Today it is so hot like on Sahara desert, I almost can’t take it… But it was a nice day for me, I got flowers and chocolates from my students because I will have a two months break from my work since it’s holiday at last. Have a wonderful weekend, hugs:)))

And btw have you watched a football match between Germany and Poland?;)

I absolutely LOVE the way you styled the dress as a shirt, it looks fabulous! The print and colors are so lovely, vibrant, and perfect for summer, they truly pop against the darker pants! I’m so glad I inspired you to give this technique a try, you wear it so well! I hope you’re having the most amazing week so far, beautiful!

I do it all the time. Wear my dresses as skirts also and top also. They are so versatile no ? I love how you are back in shape so fast. The colour of the print is so lovely and striking . Your looks are like a super model. You clearly do not look like a mom here.

What a cool idea! I have heard of wearing a shirt as a dress, but never a dress as a shirt. It looks nice and relaxed, I really like it.

Summer is definitely made for comfy outfits, and I love this one. Such a fun print. I actually thought of you when we were on vacation because we went to a couple vegan restaurants in Los Angeles. We don’t have them where I live, and it was lovely to try them.

I never would have guessed this is a dress but it is such a genius way to repurpose a piece of clothing and wear it in more than one way. I love it!
