Swapped High Waist Jeans, Second Hand Blouse and Matt & Nat Bag

Happy Friday! Yay for the weekend! I am celebrating it with a new outfit post which is all second hand.

My week was crazy, like really crazy, and I did not even manage to post something on Wednesday (as I usually do) because I have been working both day and night, or I was busy with the little one. Today my husband and I took the train for a little weekend getaway which we both greatly need, and between two trains we had some 15 minutes time to snap these outfit pictures. Now, I am all relaxed on the sofa of our cozy air bnb and all the stress is forgotten. I will make sure to share with you where we went for our getaway next week 🙂

But now to my look. I have so many stories to tell about the different pieces I am wearing here. Except for the blouse, which is a completly normal second hand find with noo big story around. But about the jeans; before last weekend a couple of girl friends and I sold clothes on a flea market all together and of course we looked through each others pieces first. A friend of mine found a tunic from me which I never wore and got all excited about it so she asked me to look through her things too. And bam – there was THE perfect high waist jeans for the season. I was looking for one like this in a couple of months already, but those of you who only buy second hand too, know how hard it can be to find something you need when you are avoiding all the major brands. And there it was. We were both soooo excited and happy about our new-ins and this totally is what I love about clothes swapping!

And now lets talk about this backpack for a second. Its from the vegan and eco friendly label Matt & Nat and I actually had an eye on their bags for quite a while. Not so long ago I finally decided that NOW is the time to get a Matt & Nat bag and I got all excited when I opened the webshop to choose one… just to realize that I am not that much of a fan of the colors of the current fall collection. Most of you know how much I loved pastels and light shades, right!? So I was slightly dissapointed and found another backpack instead (will tell you more soon…). A couple of DAYS later I got a package from a friend of mine with the bag I am wearing here! I saw it once on her and I told her how much I love it. She wrote me a note which I found in her package, saying that she is sure that I will love the backpack more than she does and this is why I should rather have it. Guys, I danced through the entire house out of joy; not only beacuse I really LOVE this backpack so much but also because I have the sweetest friend ever. To me this backpack really is the perfect one; perfect color, perfect size, perfect style, vegan leather and eco friendly produced. I am still smiling when I just think abouth that it is mine now. I rarely ever felt so much love for an accessoire 😀

How do you like this look? And have you a real crush on any of your bags? When was the last time a good friend of you surprised you? I would love to know!

I love the outfit! I bought a pair of high waist jeans a while ago, just to try out, and I love them! I can’t stand wearing low rise jeans now, it just doesn’t feel right. Haha. That backpack is really pretty, what a lovely friend you have 🙂

This outfit just has the sweetest stories to go with it! I love the sound of clothes swapping and what a darling friend to send you that that bag. I’ve been looking at Matt and Nat myself for a while and you definitely have a cute one there. I’m so happy you didn’t see one you liked online and instead now have this one which has so much more meaning to it 🙂

You look really good, Larissa. I have to say that the concept of wearing purely thrifted clothing scares me. A lot. I suppose you could call me a die-hard shopaholic GRIN but then again, I’m always up for a challenge so maybe, just maybe, I might see how I’d survive an entire month? Or maybe start small with a week hahaha and I love your cardigan, btw.

Liebe Slow Fashion Grüße aus Hamburg <3 Anna
