Have you Spring-updated your wardrobe yet? I am in the middle of it and I am excited to share a little bit of Spring/Summer fair fashion inspiration from KOKOworld with you today!
Not only am I excited about the new KOKOworld collection, but also about my very first BBF photoshooting which I had two weeks ago with my good friend Nicole. I am so happy about the results, and I hope you get a feeling of how much fun we had, shooting these pictures here, just by looking at them 😀 !?
But before getting too much into how much I enjoyed shooting these pictures together with Nicole and our talented photographer Sarah Storch, I want to draw attention to the beautiful clothes we are wearing here!
The brand KOKOworld was born with the goal to connect the farthest ends of the world, tailors from Senegal and Poland, craftsmen from Morocco with those from Krakow. KOKOworld aims also at brining the history and traditions of Developing Countries closer to us.
You may be able to tell this from looking the prints that both Nicole and I am wearing: the patterns that are inspired by Middle Eastern atmosphere and Arabic ornaments!
Those of you following my insta stories may have noticed two things: first I am wearing this dress over and over these days (I also wear it as a shirt tucked into my pencil skirts or pants!) and second that we’ve been shooting these pictures in the my favorite cafe where I am spend like every other afternoon 😀
Talking about the dress: in case you love the pattern as much as I do but you do not really feel sure about the shape; there is actually a blouse available in the KOKOworld onlineshop in the exact same style!
Overall, the Spring/Summer 2019 collection by KOKOworld is inspired by Middle Eastern atmosphere, Arabic ornaments and various colours of the Levant. I personally love pieces that are inspired by the Middle East since I love all those shades of blue and ornaments of all kinds!
Anyone out there who’s with me :)?
Like all labels that I share about here on the blog, also KOKOworld is very much into fair trade! For KOKOworld fair trade is understood as a trade partnership, based on honesty, dialogue, transparency and respect for co-workers.
„There`s no better way of helping one than giving him a decent job”
Agata Kurek – the KOKOworld founder
KOKOworld is basically where social responsible fashion crosses the social projects buliding bridges between Polish craftsmen and craftsmen from all around the world.
All KOKOworld products are made all around the world. However, no matter whether if it`s Thai-Myanmar or Colombian; what`s the most important for the label is that there is a particular craftman standing behind each and every product.
You can even find an overview of all craftsmen on the KOKOworld website!
And here is what Nicole and I are wearing:
And by the way: this post is another proof for that you do not need to wear maternity wear to look good and stylish during pregnancy 😀
I really hope you enjoyed this post and the pictures from our shooting and I would love to read some feedback from you!
Alos, make sure to let me know: how far are you in getting your Spring wardrobe ready :)?
