Fall Walks (with GARY MASH Fair Fashion and FERDINandNOAH)

Back to reality! I am no longer on Paradise island but in cold old Germany. And I have some fair fashion waiting for you. This week I will be posting two fair fashion outfits and take a little break from my vacation posts. I will take you back to Boracay again next week; before getting all ready for Christmas afterwards 🙂

Today I would love to share a little more about GARY MASH and FERDINandNOAH with you. Both brands are German, vegan, and fair trade and I got to know both of them a while before I left for vacation in early October.

I styled my GARY MASH sweater here with a skirt from the ethical label Hess Natur and I loved to see how well the dark green shade of the sweater goes with the bright violet of the FERDINandNOAH gym bag. Don’t you think?

I wore the outfit for a beautiful fall walk which we enjoyed when we came back from Boracay. It was beautiful to see seasons change here in Germany and it reminded me again of why I love living in Europe – even though I never wanted to leave Boracay 😉

Doesn’t the sweater fit perfectly with the background? I really love the pretty leaf print and the dark green color. I was wearing this sweater on the plane on the way back from Boracay with sweat pants, and it definetly is my favorite one for cozy Sundays spend at home. However, with a skinny jeans or a pencil skirt it can easily be dressed up. You can check it out at the GARY MASH online shop where you can find a description in both English and German.

By the way, I can totally recommend checking out their webshop for beautiful fair trade christmas gifts! They have sooo many cute home decor items, clothes and accessoires.

Just a few more words about my gym bag here, which I found at FERDINandNOAH. You may have noticed that I have never been much of a handbag girl. I wore tote bags in years, nothing else. Yes, I did have one or two hand bags, and like once in a year I got them out off the closet to wear them for a blog shooting. But in daily life it was tote bags. Tote bags and nothing else. This actually changed in the past few months. Still, I am not a handbag girl, but I totally am a backpack one! I have been sharing my Matt and Nat backpack with you, and I wrote a little about my Ansvar backpack, and I do have one or two of these gym bag style tote bags too. I actually love the gym bag style but I do not love the thin cotton fabrics a lot. Not for Fall. Like seriously, everything gets wet within a second when I go for a walk with the little one these days. And this is why I love my FERDINandNOAH gym bag; it is  water resistant, comes in this really cool color, is vegan and sustainably produced and it is made in Germany. Check, check, double check!

I guess ferdinandnoah.com is a great place to look for ethical christmas gifts too… 🙂

Just as a side note: I will post more about ideas and places to shop for ethical, sustainable, and fair trade Christmas gifts.

How do you like this Fall look? I would love to read your opinion!

By the way, I plan to create a list with all my favorite fair fashion labels or maybe even sustainble labels in general, to make it easier for you to find ethical brands and to shop with clear conscience. I just get to know all the awesome brands out there and I discover new ones every day. Brands which do really CARE and which are not just greenwashing a little. Brands with awesome projects, supporting workers in all corners of the world, working with disabled people, producing with sustainable energy, using only recycled recoures etc. etc. there really is NO reason to support brands who are exploiting their workers, supporting slavery and animal testing, or brands which are consciously polluting our planet. You can make a difference every single day by voting with your money for the world you want to live in. And I hope I will inspire you to do so 🙂

I love the color & print of your sweater. I have one the same color but with geometric lines & triangles. That backdrop looks amazing. It reminds me of my recent trip to Portland, Oregon. :]

Nice. Thanks for spreading the word about these brands. I’m always on the lookout for new ones. Most people think buying well involves sacrifice — it doesn’t. We just need better alternatives. Telling us about them is good work!

Love the top and I completely agree that there is no reason to support brands who aren’t ethical, sustainable, or committed to leaving the world a little bit better off.

I love Fall so much, so I love the Fall pics:) The sweater is really pretty, I would love to have it in my closet:) I’ve never had a gym bag before, I guess I’m more handbag girl, but I like the color of it, cos purple is my favourite:) In here it is also quite cold, but the most beautiful sides of Fall are gone, I mean trees has already lost their beuatiful leaves and now its more grey and rainy everyday. But still love it under my blanket with a cup of tea:) Have a lovely week, hugs:)))

As you very well know, I used to be a handbag girl too. Maybe I still am but only once in a while on an evening out. I totally love the functionality of a backpack, they`re handy and comfy – just perfect! Love the violet gym back 🙂
