It is time for my Fall Favorites of 2016! And finally I have WiFi again so that I can post this post that is waiting since almost a week.
From next week onwards, I have like a million posts from my vacation to share with you, but before that, I wanted to show you my fall favorites. I tried to find a good balance between natural cosmetics, food, and a few lifestyle items that I love this season. I hope you enjoy 🙂
1.Organic Fiji Soaps
I LOVE these soaps! They are super soft and creamy and make the best foam ever. Plus, they smell amazing! I took the pineapple and coconut one with me on my vacation it was all I used, for my body, face, and even my hair. The tuberose one is my current favorite at home and I am already looking forward to come back home to that one 🙂
Oh and by the way, the packaging is 100% compostable! No plastic, no trash with this soap!
2. Acai Powder
I know, everyone is talking about Acai since a year or so. I am little late on the track, but I am there now. I love to add Acai to my smoothies, to my lemon water, and to my banana nice cream. In case you want to get some powdered Acai, make sure you find a high quality one which is made from the entire fruit including the skin, and not just the juice (which has a lot less antioxidants).
Fall is made for cozy scents such as lavender and vanilla. Lavender somehow is a smell I always link to fall, even though it is actually blooming in summer. Anyway, I love my bath oil and my body oil from Primavera and also my lavender hand soap from Grüne Erde.
What is your favorite smell for fall by the way?
4. Turmeric Tea
Turmeric is my favorite seasoning in all seasons, to be honest. However, the spicy turmeric tea from Sonnentor is definetly my favorite for dark and cold fall mornings. The tea comes in three different blends and my favorite one is the one with roibos and vanilla. I have it almost every morning and I sooooo love it. Have you ever tried turmeric tea? You should definetly give a try!
I rarely ever wear socks from May to October and I love summer for allowing me not to wear socks. However, the fun patterend socks from URU actually make me wanna wear socks every day. The fun pattern is not the only great thing about URU Solosocks; they do actually not sell pairs but a set of seven SOLO socks! All seven socks come in the same pattern, yet different colors (which do fit of course), so that you can pair them around just the way you like.Like this you never get in the uncomfortable situation where you only have one sock left and you end up throwing it away, because what else can you do with one sock that does not fit to any of your other ones? I find this idea super awesome and I think you should totally check out their website www.uru.dk to see the other pretty sets of socks. They have free shipping by the way 🙂
Whereas I like to start my day with turmeric tea, I love to have some hot chocolate in the afternoon, either when I am playing at home with the little one, or when I am on the playgound with her (then I bring it in my thermos, see next picture). Koawach makes hot chocolate with guarana which makes it a perfect alternative to coffee. The vanilla and the ginger blend both come with coconut sugar instead of refined sugar, which even make them perfectly suitable for picky-super-healthy-eaters like me 😀
As I just wrote, I love to bring hot drinks when I go to the playground with the little one, or even when my husband and I go for our usual weekend walks in the woods. This thermos from GARY MASH is always with me. I even brought it with me on vacation (as you may know if you have seen my last post) because it does not only keep hot drinks hot, but also cold water cold. Plus it looks super stylish and classy. It feels so much better drinking from this thermos than from whatever kind of to go mug, which is being trown away after use and causing just even more waste.
8. Golden Milk
I have been posting about Golden Milk (or Turmeric Latte) last year and my love for it only increased since. I try to always have fresh turmeric roots in my house to be able to make some fresh golden milk, however, there are days where I do not have turmeric and on those days, the Sonnenfeuer blend from Pure Raw is such a life saver. It is super spicy and super yummy. It has (next to turmeric, ginger and black pepper which are the typical ingredients for golden milk) chili in it and it totally inspired me to add chili to my homemade golden milk too.
Wow, and that was it! These are my fall favorites of 2016! Such a long post, right :D? Do you know any of thrse products? Do you share any of my favorites? I would love to know!

What a great post! Those soaps sounds so good, how I wish to find them here. I tried to make some turmeric drink some time ago, but it was too spicy for me, I think I should give it anoher try , cos I know it’s superhealhy. I love it in my Indian dishes, though. I havent tried acai before, but I was thinkin about it when I was ordering another box from a bio-company that I’m working with on on my blog. But still I got a lot of healthy things:) About hibiscus – I just buy them in a pharmacy and I love it, the tea is so tasty:) And about my weekends – now I have my lectures every two weeks, so we still got the time for the family. and if not, we meet them during the week, cos family comes first:) I’m so excited to hear something more about your trip, sounds amazing! Have a lovely evening, hugs:)))
