My first fair fashion outfit of 2018! Yay! I am actually so excited about this year and about everything it seems to bring and everything it has brought already! I cannot wait to share soooo many ideas on the blog, so many new projects, so many great fair fashion brands, soooo much content that I have all ready in my head and that only needs to become realized in the next 11 months. Can’t wait for it!
But now to today’s post. This little fair fashion outfit is one that I wear A LOT these days. I love it because it is so simple and yet stylish and flattering. The cardi makes it super cozy and warm, the skinny jeans makes it looks “dressed” and the beautiful necklace from Stadtelster adds just the right touch of specialness 😉
So what do I wear? I will begin from down to top… the shoes are really old. They are old leather boots that I ones bought on sale at h&m actually. Ever since I have them, I take them to the shoemaker every fall. And because of that they are actually still like new. I get new heels every fall and new soles every other year and, well, I still have a perfect pair of allrounder boots that go with everything. I find it very important to take good care of my things and I take both my shoes and my clothes to the shoemaker and sewing shop whenever needed.
The longsleeve with turtleneck and the cardigan are both birthday gifts from my mother. My mother shops at Maas Natur ever since I am child (yes, I wore only fair and organic clothes when I was a child) and I still love their timeless, high quality pieces. I LOVE this cardigan sooo much and I wear it almost every day. It goes with everything and it si so incredible cozy and warm. I have been looking for one like that in a long time already and I was so overexcited when I got this one here from my mother.
My headband is from another German fair fashion label that made it on the blog quite a few times: mein frollein is the right address for everyone who is looking for warm, ethically made headbands, scarfs, or hats.
And now about my necklace. That is actually my favorite part of this outfit. The pearls are made from porcelain which makes it pretty unique. I love the soft pastel tones of the pearls and the fact that the entire necklace is not only made in Germany but actually made in a small town not far from where I live.
Stadtelster is a small label from Weimar that is not only creating beautiful jewelery but that is actually a lot into upcycling and reusing materials. Jessica is such an creative soul, making the most beautiful and unique pieces. Many pieces of her collection are actually individual items. She is also doing really beautfiful and cute illustrations that you should make sure to have a look at. Absolutely make sure to check out her beautiful shop at Stadtelster.de
I hope you enjoyed this little fair fashion outfit!? On other Germany based fair fashion blogs you will probably see tons of content from the ethical fashion show this week!? Here, I will not really be posting anything about it. My focus is just totally somewhere else these days and since I am having so many other projects going on, I decided not to go. Some of you may have read my post about 2017 and how exhausting it was and one of the things I want to do in 2018 is to calm down (works really well so far, by the way!) so I am only doing what really fits my agenda and fashion week just isn’t part of this year (going to Switzerland next week is, however 😀 )
Have a wonderful week!
