Fair Fashion Outfit with Geniestreich Jeans, Hess Natur, Nine to Five, and RAINS

Today’s fair fashion outfit’s focus is all on the German denim label Geniestreich. I got to know the owner at a fair fashion fair a couple of weeks back. Since, we have been in constant contact, talking about how it goes with the label, the difficulties of being a mumpreneur (mother and business owner), and everything that makes their jeans so special. As I am always impressed when I get to know people who are so very passionate about what they are doing, I decided to share a pair of their jeans on my blog.

The jeans that I am wearing here was made for me (pr sample), I was able to choose both the color of the denim fabric and of the seams. Everyone can do this when ordering at Geniestreich; it is one of the many things that makes this label to special.

Feel free to check them out HERE

How do you like these grey jeans with the white seams?

We took the pictures here a couple of weeks ago on one of those perfect sunny fall days. I somehow love shooting at this location and you may have noticed that many of my outfit posts are from the same place. It is a former tram station where the trams went to get inspected and so on. It’s a very quiet place and you can easily stay there for three hours, taking pictures or having fun exploring the surrounding, without seeing another person. Since I am always shy taking pictures when others watch, this really is the perfect place for me.

Anyway, back to my outfit and back to Geniestreich Jeans.

As I wrote above, one of the many things that make this label so special is that you can actually choose both the color and shape of your jeans and the color of the seam. You can even send a picture of your body shape to get a consultation on what kind of jeans shape to order.

What else is there to say about the brand? Of course all jeans are GOTS certified, everything is handmade in Germany (under fair conditions obviously), and the owners are actually a couple who decided to leave behind their former office-life and jump into a new adventure (oh, I can so relate to that!). Still today, they work together in their small company, and like with me and my business, they have the credo; family goes always first.

I talked a lot with Julia on the phone and we realized that in many aspects we have the same beliefs and opinions, something that always makes me like the label behind the person even more 😉

About the other pieces I am wearing here… I am sure you know my Nine to Five loafers by now? I wear them soooo much and they still look like new by the way. It is so worth to invest in quality shoes guys!

My Hess Natur sweater is an old one and yet still one of my favorite pieces. I got it second hand a year ago or so and it is my most worn sweater! The RAINS rain coat was a gift from my husband. I LOVE it! I was thinking about buying it for months but somehow was not ready to spend a lot of money on a raincoat that I thought I will hardly ever wear. It turned out I wear it a lot because I like it that much that I do not care if they weather is rainy or not.

Finally, my necklace and earrings. They are both from wonderful Alex from Flamingocat and I have been wearing them on the blog back here.

How do you like this fair fashion look of mine? I would love to know!
