My first outfit post of the year! Finally it is here. And of course it is all fair fashion, including my favorite skirt from beautiful Jenny from Boerdshoert and a new old sweater from Hess Natur which I found second hand a couple of weeks back.
I am also wearing the scarf that my brother gifted to me on my birthday. He had no idea that I was looking for a scarf exactly like that one in a couple of weeks already. And whereas I almost gave up, it suddenly appeared in a package from him! You should have seen my face when I opened his gift – it was one of my really best birthday gifts. He got it in Cork, Ireland, by the way, so it has a little bit of a story to it 🙂
The coat that I am wearing here is one that I got back in 2015 and I also found it second hand. It is really versatile and goes with basically everything which makes it the perfect coat for me. Oh and my backpack of course, you may remember it from this post!? I got it as a gift too and it was the most beautiful surprise ever, because I LOVE that Matt&Nat backpack so much but it was sold out when I finally decided to buy it. And a friend of mine just send me hers! I really have the best friends in the world; and the best brother of course.
I have been wearing the skirt on the blog back in this post and I have been wearing it a lot outside of the blog ever since. I really like it because of its midi lenght and because it can easily be dressed up or down. The fashion designer Jenny from Boerdshoert is super cute and I got to meet her in her little store in Berlin back in November. I took a bunch of pictures in there and I will be sharing them together with an interview with Jenny. I am already super excited about posting it here on the blog because Jenny will share loads of thoughts on her approach to fair and ethical fashion.
Have you noticed that I am wearing new glasses? These have been another very special birthday gift. I will be sharing more on the whole story behind these glasses sometime later this month. For today I will just say: finally I am wearing ethical glasses and finally I do not feel guilty any longer because someone worked under terrible conditions just to make cheap glasses for me.
Here on the last picture you can see a detail of the sweater – it is cut open on the side which makes it somehow special… and which is really practical for breastfeeding 😀
How do you like this outfit? I will be back with another fair fashion look in around two weeks. Before that I have sooo much more waiting to be posted and I cannot wait for it. You guys, I love blogging. Seriously it is so much fun, isn’t it?
