Fair Fashion for Men and Women: With Le Pirol

Today I am going to share my very first couple shooting! I think it is so important to support men’s fair fashion as well and this is why I am very happy about today’s post. My husband and I, we are both wearing a sweater from a sustainable label from Denmark that is producing high quality knit wear for men and women: Le Pirol.

I’ve been sharing a few men’s fair fashion looks on the blog in the past, however, never ever before we took pictures together. It was fun to do so today!

It was snowing a bit, which you can tell from some of the pictures… I am sorry for the snowflakes here and there and I hope you don’t mind 🙂

Le Pirol a quite new label which just launched a few months back. They are designing and producing every single piece of their garments in Denmark. All of their products are season less, so there aren’t new collections every season, but new styles are rather introduced whenever they are ready.

All of Le Pirols collection – so far – is made from Merino Wool. Of course it is 100% organic, recyclable and biodegradable. I’ve been writing a blog post about wearing wool as a vegan which you can find HERE, if you are intersted in the topic. I personally find that it’s a great choice for a sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle.

Every Le Pirol product is timeless and will, hopefully, be worn a lifetime. This is at least what my husband and I plan for our sweaters 😀

I love the unique design of the two sweaters – I mean have you ever seen a knit technic like the one in the sweater I am wearing? I did not.

The rest of our outfits is all fair as well – of course 😉

My husband is wearing his favorite Monkee Genes and I am wearing a coat made from recycled plastic bottles which I found in the beautiful HUG Berlin online shop (my favorite shop for colorful fair fashion items!). You can find the coat here.

I am also wearing my BOOB skirt. This skirt is actually one of the most worn pieces in my pregnancy so far! I love it because a. it is very comfy and supports my bump b. it goes with everything c. it always makes me look good. I will go into more detail about how to style skirts with a baby bump in another post, so stay tuned for that!

It’s been a fun experience to shoot these pictures together with my husband. It was actually very cold so we wanted to get through the shooting fast enough and yet we had a lot of fun and felt like that maybe we should do this more often. And I am happy to have a few pictures of the two of us with the baby bump – I will keep some of our family photo album as well as for the baby journal that I am keeping for the little one in my belly.

Do you like to take couple pictures?

Since Winter is far from being over, I do highly recommend checking out Le Pirol to get some inspiration for some wonderful warming pieces for him and for her. You can find the exact same sweater that I am wearing in a bright yellow as well as in white. You can find beautiful knit dresses, and cardigans for men and women.

Just hop over to the beautiful webshop if you are intersted – they ship worldwide 🙂

And now there is nothing more to say then: have a nice weekend! And stay tuned for the next post… 🙂
