Dress Day

It’s been years (almost) since I have been wearing a dress on the blog! Dresses are not very practical when breastfeeding so I guess this is why it’s been so long. Anyway, today I am wearing a Hess Natur dress that I bought last month and which has a low enough neckline to be able to breastfeed when wearing it (yes, I choose new dresses depending on if it is easy to breastfeed with them or not).

By the way, talking about new dresses. You may have noticed that I stopped the “my purchases” series again. I made those posts to analyze my shopping behaviour and to somehow control what I shop and how I shop. I have done these posts for a little more than a year (or so…) and I stopped making them because I do no longer feel the need to do so. I really became much more conscious in my shopping behaviour and I buy a lot less in general. When I buy something it’s only second hand or from ethical brands. This dress is from an ethical brand 🙂

I hope you are all enjoying your week so far!? Have a wonderful rest of the week and enjoy your weekend! I will be on a small family trip over the weekend and will be back on Monday with a post baout my (almost) plastic free face care routine. I am looking forward to it 🙂

This dress looks beautiful on you <3 I love its technicality. I'm not a mother so I it never crossed my mind about how difficult it would be to find a dress that can allow you to breast feed.

Honestly, I am disgusted by excess shopping. In my most recent post, I wrote about how I went shopping for the first time in a loooong time. There was a point when I was at Forever 21 and I was standing in line for the dressing room. I had about 20 items that I was going to try on. There must have been 10 girls and women of different ages in front of me. I remember looking around and thinking, what are we all doing here? We're all going to try on a bunch of crap that was made by children. Do we even NEED this stuff? And the funny part was that NO ONE was smiling. The funnier part was that the song "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" was playing…and everyone looked miserable lol. That says so much about modern society and our priorities.

Anyway, enough of my rant. I love your posts because they always make me think about what I buy and my choices 😉

    Have an amazing day! <3

You look so beautiful in a dress! You should wear them more often:) But I completely understand that it is not the best solution considering breastfeeding. I love the colour of a dress and I really like your shoes – I love flats:) Yesterday we got some garden treausures again- 12 kg of cucumbers from my parents’ in law neigbours and today we spent the whole afternoon putting them in jars for winter, Im very tired but it is a great satisfaction:P Have a lovely weekend, hugs:)))

Dresses are my favorite. I never thought about the inconvenience when breastfeeding. Not sure what I’ll wear, ha! This one looks great on you.
