A black and white second hand outfit with mixed patterns. Mixing Patterns is like all over the place right now. I enjoy looking at those really fun and colorful outfits, but for myself I like it slightly less brash. This is why I chose some black and white pattern mix. Still joining the trend, yet in my own simple and minimalistic way of dressing.
For this black and white pattern mix outfit, I chose second hand only clothes. Because actually, you do not need new clothes to join a new trend. As trends are repeating like all the time, it is very likely you will be able to create an outfit which is somehow going with current trends, without buying a whole new wardrobe.
Okay, lets talk about this black and white second hand skirt. I bought it back in the days when I was pregnant in size M and I loved it. After pregnancy it was too big but still, I liked to wear it. However, one day I decided that it could be a great idea to have it my actual size, S. So I went to my favorite online second hand shop and typed something like “black and white pencil skirt” and zoooooom there it was! For like 5€ in my size. That was one lucky day! I love this skirt and wear it a lot. I love to wear it with simple black sweaters, with white sweaters and with black and white tops, like in this outfit.
The coat… yeah, the coat. Remember how excited I was about my new (second hand) pink coat back in this post here? Well, actually I did not buy ONE pink coat, but TWO. Yes, I know! I so know! But I could not resist. They are both second hand, they have different shades of pink and this one here was like really cheap and I just could not resist. Sometimes, I am not acting sustainable, sometimes I am not even acting reasonable, sometimes I just buy two pink coats. It happens.
By the way, I wore this outfit for a coffee date with Nicole from When Sweet Becomes Healthy. In case you like raw baking, healthy sweets, vegan cakes, or just anything sweet, I think you should check out her blog. Her pictures are beyond amazing!
