Another second hand pastel look, because pastels are basically all I ever wear these days. No, rather these months. Or rather since more than a year or so. It may be boring for some but I feel really comfortable knowing what kind of colors and shades I like; and sticking to them. It makes it easy to choose clothes and to create looks. Of course I like to experiment every now and then but in general I know that I will always feel good in something white, grey, blush or light blue.
So when I saw this striped white and pink blouse in an online second hand shop, I knew that it will become one of my favorite items for Spring 2017. And I guess I was right; I have it since some two weeks now and I wore it like three times already. The chino jeans is a gift, second hand too. It is the first time I a wearing chino jeans and in the first place I was super sceptical (“doesn’t this make me look fat?”) but the comfort won. Seriously, these pants are so comfortable and they do look good as well so why not!?
By the way, you know what makes my style so unique? The pleats in my clothes 😀
Seriously, I am so bad at ironing my clothes. Meaning, I never actually iron my clothes. Remember my post about why I could never be a real fashion blogger? The fact that I never iron my clothes in one of the reasons.
How do you like this look of mine? I wore it today, actually. We went out for a little Friday afternoon walk with the little one and ended up in our favorite coffee place afterwards, having coffee and oatmilk for the little one. Talking about favorite coffee places; I planned a fun little blog event with Franzi from the blog FRide: we will take each other out to our favorite coffee places here in Leipzig in the coming weeks, document everything, and share our favorites on our blogs. I am looking forward to that one!
In general, I may bring the city I live in, and the cities around, a little more into focus here on the blog. Local stuff has never been really a topic to me (being all cosmopolitan you know 😉 ) but as I am more and more careful about choosing sustainable options, I cannot but focus more on what is produced here in my region. I mean, fair fashion is awesome, but fair fashion made in Leipzig/Berlin that does not have to travel 1000km to arrive at my doorstep is even more awesome! So there will be a little more focus on local and regional brands, places and people here on Conscious Lifestyle of Mine.
For now: have a WONDERFUL weekend and thank you for being you!
