Fall Favorites 2018 (Natural Cosmetics, Books, Vegan and Natural Supplements)

It is time to share my fall favorites of 2018 with you guys! It’s been a while since I have been sharing some favorites so I thought it could be a nice idea to do now that we are in the middle of fall, getting all cozy, and thinking about what to get for Christmas for our loved ones … or for ourselves 😉

I’ve been putting together some favorite beauty products that I enjoy these days, some vegan and natural supplements that help me staying fit and healthy all throughout fall and winter, and some books that I enjoy reading right now. It is the first time I am including books into these kind of favorites-posts but since fall and winter are the seasons where most of us read most, I thought it could be nice to add them this time. If you are intersted in what I am reading overall, feel free to leave a comment and maybe I can make a post with something like my top ten books of the year or something like that!?

But now let’s jump right into some amazing all organic, natural, and vegan products….

Let’s start off with BEAUTY. Cause this is what we all love don’t we? Well at least for me fall and winter is the time of the year where I get more into beauty products. Especially when it comes to make up, I am not simply not using that much during summer, but I like a little more in Fall and Winter.  In Summer all I wear is some eyebrow pencil and a little bit of blush, actually.

So here I mixed up a few different beauty categories: a face oil, an aroma air spray, a nail polish, and some make up.

The face oil is an all time favorites of mine, from Provida. I got to know this product last fall and was using it all throughout fall and winter 2017/2018. Now that fall came closer, I made sure to get myself a new bottle. It is the most nourishing and yet light oil I know and I love the soft toning it gives to the face’s skin.

Another product from Provida that made it to my favorites is this nail polish. The shimmering dark red is like so fancy and yet just perfect for every occasion. Like all nail polishes from Provida the product is 100% organic and even demeter certified! Love it!

And who thinks vanilla is boring? I know some people do but I am certainly NOT among them! I love vanilla and there isn’t anything cozier than a room smelling of sweet and all natural and organic vanilla. This is why I LOVE this air spray from Primavera.

Now to the make up. Both products shown here are from the new stay gold edition. Couleur Caramel is, next to Provida, my favorite brand for organic and natural cosmetics, when it comes to how long a product lasts, how pigmented it is, and how good it works overall. So this eyeshadow palette here is he perfect basic that, I guess, everyone needs every now and then. I don’t use a lot of eyeshadow myself, but when I do, then this palette is the perfect color code for me.

However, what I do use every day is some color for my eyebrows. So far I went okay with a pen but now that I tested the gel from Couleur Caramel, I don’t think I will go back to pencils. So accurate, so long lasting, such a perfect staying-in-place. Probably not only a favorite for fall but a favorite of the year overall!

Another highlight for me this season are the new colorful all vegan make up brushes from Benecos! They are not only vegan but also made from birch tree instead of plastic (like many vegan brushes are, unfortunatly). I love the fun colors and the variety of brushes.

So that you do not get confused about which one to use for what, it is actually written on every single brush what it is made for. However, in the end you can of course use them just the way you like. I personally use the Kabuki brush most (the big short one).

In case you like this set, I do recommend staying in touch on instagram since I maaaay giveaway this entire set very soon 😉

Now let’s jump to another categorie: supplements!

Yes, I do take supplements, HOWEVER only 100% natural ones! Like I would never use any non-natural calcium or iron or whatever it is! Vitamin B12 is the only exception here, since it is not safe to take this one from only natural ingredients. It is not pictured here since I take that one all year around and not only in fall/winter

What I currently like to take, just to make sure I get to transition smoothly into fall and avoid getting a cold, is:

Vitamin D3 – I take this one from October to April

Curcumin – I take this one whenever I feel like a cold is getting closer or a l of people around me are sick. Just to boosst my imune systeme a little.

Frauen Vital Komplex – this is a blend of different plant extract such as guave, basil, curryleaf, camu camu, and others. It’s like an all natural multivitamin. My favorite!

Bitterquell Plus – is to make sure I am getting enough calcium. I do not always get enough calcium through the food I eat (only when I manage to really eat a lot of greens and sesame…) so I like to be on the safe side here.

And finally, as promised, here are two of my favorite books of the season:

Vegan Klichee Ade is for my German readers. Niko Rittenau is getting into all the prejudices out there about a vegan diet and reveals the truth. This is the book for everyone looking for good arguments – no matter if it is about soy, vitamin b12 or iron, Niko is digging tĂnto it and giving you ALL the studies. A must have for everyone on a vegan diet, I think.

The Healing Code of Nature is my current read and even though I am only through the first 200 pages I already know that this book is a life changer. I already knew after the first 50 pages. On amazon it says: biologist Clemens G. Arvay illuminates the miraculous ways that the human body interprets the living “code” of plants, animals, and our larger natural habitat for healing and sustenance. Here is a book as inspiring as it is fascinating, offering a new vision for the future of medicine and the way we relate to our environment.

A HUGE recommendation!

Wuuup, this is it for today! I hope you enjoyed this little favorites post and if so, make sure to let me know! Do you like to see more of the producs I get like on trade fairs or as pres samples? Would you like to see more reviews over here? Or do you find them boring overall? Let me know and I will see what I can do for you 🙂
